These letters, spanning 1885 to 1888, are from the State Normal School's president and members of the board of regents regarding their general affairs to Kansas Governor John Martin. The president and regents wrote about school land laws, the sell of the "Salt Spring Lands," the appointment of members, reports, coal supplies, and commencement.
