This file includes letters from citizens of Anderson County to Kansas Governor St. John requesting that the Governor offer a reward for the capture of Joesph W. Goltra, the late County Clerk of Anderson County. According to a few of the documents, Joseph W. Goltra is guilty of obtaining money during the last two years from the County Treasurer of Anderson County by false pretense with the intent to defraud said county.
