A letter from Ed. Russell informs Kansas Governor St. John that John W. Hillmon has committed murder and asks the Governor to use public funds to determine if there has been a murder committed. A following letter from G. Winston advising the Governor that Hillmon is in likely in Colorado and the individual who was murdered was, Frank Walter. A separate letter requests the Governor send a copy of the affidavits filed in the Governor's office by Theo Weisman.
