A proceeding of a meeting informs Kansas Governor St. John that the farmers of Hawkeye township in Osborne County have met to devise some means of procuring seed wheat for fall sowing. A separate letter from J. G. Wolford of Bull City, Kansas advising the Governor the condition of things in regard to seed wheat for fall sowing. In the letter J. G. Wolford asks the Governor to furnish them some wheat or to influence parties that can supply them with wheat. Accompanying this letter is a statement showing acreage of wheat town in Osborne county.
