This file includes a formal resignation from the present Barber County Surveyor, T. A. Bayley. In addition to the formal resignation there is a letter from the Barber County Clerk, R. A. Ward informing Kansas Governor St. John of T. A. Bayley's resignation. Included is another letter from R. A. Ward, Barber County Clerk advising Governor St. John that Barber county has not had a County Surveyor for most of the year and requests that the governor appoint someone this position.
