This file contains a letter to Kansas Governor St. John from an individual in the town of Attwood, Kansas requesting the governor to appoint a Justice of the Peace and Commissioner in Rawlins county which is unorganized. There is a letter that requests assistance from Governor St. John in prosecuting owners of cattle that destroyed his crops, he includes a copy of an appraisement showing the damages to be $328.
