Letters to Kansas Governor St. John that talk about matters from the Office of Attorney General for the State of Kansas. Two of the letters pertain to the Insane Asylum in Osawatomie in relation to bonds. Other letters discuss vacancies in offices of counties, requests to employ specific persons to assist in cases before the Supreme Court, opinions regarding the validity of pardoning power, and laws of 1879 defining boundaries of Wallace county, among other affairs.
