These are Governor's Proclamations, approved by Kansas Governor G. W. Glick, for rewards issued for the capture of criminals. Reward proclamations were issued for Charles Cobb, Clem Barefoot, Mike McCauley, J. W. Gaines, George Puckett, James Witt, L. H. Bowlus, Tom May, Oscar Halsell, Jack Anderson, Lewis Wample, James C. Pusey, and unknown criminals. The crimes range from obstruction of property, arson, and embezzlement to murder. The value of the rewards vary. Many of the criminals listed are the same criminals mentioned in the letters, requisitions, and documents in the other "Criminal Matters" files.
