These letters are from city councils, mayors, and other Kansas citizens regarding their cities and towns to Kansas Governor G. W. Glick. The topics of these letters include the board of education, Enterprise, Kansas as a railroad station, invitations to visit, and the appointment and removal of city officials. Many letters pertain to Olathe and a water works building contract named the Holmes Contract because of the owner's last name. There are also Governor Proclamations and letters responding to or requesting the proclamations for the cities of Arkansas City, Girard, Hiawatha, and Pittsburg.
