These letters are from or about the Osawatomie, Kansas Insane Asylum to Kansas Governor G. W. Glick. Relatives of different patients wrote to the governor concerning their loved one. Other subjects within the letters are Dr. Knapp, criminal cases, and investigations of the asylum. The Osawatomie Insane Asylum is still in operation today with a name change to the Osawatomie State Hospital.
