These letters are from various individuals regarding the Statehouse Commissioner position to Kansas Governor G. W. Glick. One letter protests the reinstatement of John Hammond, while others endorse his reinstatement. There is also a letter from Hammond in regards to keeping the position. Others endorse J. H. Holmes and C. A. Cozine. Glick appointed J. B. Anderson and J. M. Hood to the position.
