A letter on September 7, 1875, from W. W. Jones, invites Kansas Governor Osborn to attend the Grand Feast and give an address to the people of Chautauqua County. A telegraph on December 23, 1874, from H. Hopkins, Warden of the Penitentiary, asks if Governor Osborn can visit the prison on Christmas day. An invitation on September 22, 1876, from J. M. Griffith to give an address at an agricultural fair in October. A letter from George H. Miller on September 9, 1875, invites the Governor to attend a meeting held by the citizens of Wyandotte on September 23. The following documents also pertain to invitations for Kansas Governor Osborn to attend events held by organizations or citizens.
