The following documents in this file relate to the appointment of Judge of the 15th Judicial District. A letter on March 13, 1873, from W. W. Guthrie, recommends an individual by the name of Mr. Banta for the position of Judge of their district. A letter on January 28, 1873, from P. B. Plumb, recommends R. C. Clark for Judge of the new Judicial District. A petition recommends R. C. Clark as a qualified and suitable person for the office of Judge of the 15th Judicial District. A letter of application on March 5, 1873, from J. A. Sinville for the position of Judge of the 15th District Court. Further letters and petitions are from individuals applying or recommending specific candidates for the appointment of Judge of the 15th Judicial District.
