Legislature

A letter on March 4, 1873, from Alex R. Banks, requests on behalf of the House of Representatives the return of the resolution of the House Bill no. 177 for further consideration. A letter on February 12, 1873, from George C. Crowther, Secretary of the Senate, informs that the Kansas Senate at an executive session confirmed the appointment of Edward Russell as Superintendent of Insurance. A letter on February 3, 1874, confirming nominations made by Kansas Governor Osborn. A letter on March 2, 1874, from Alex R. Banks, encloses certified copies of resolutions adopted by the House of Representatives. The following documents pertain to similar affairs such as the adoption of resolutions, appointments of certain individuals, requests for the return of house bills for revision, among other topics.
