A letter on March 4, 1878, from Martin Mullins, encloses a copy of his argument in the case of Nelson Dudymott vs. the K. P. Railway Co., given before the Honorable Secretary of the Interior and requests Governor Anthony examine it. A letter on December 3, 1878, from the Acting Commissioner of the General Land Office, encloses a certified copy of a list of lands granted by the Act of March 3, 1863, and approved on June 5, 1874, to the State of Kansas for the benefit of the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railway Company. Additional documents are from the Office of General Lands concerning lists of lands granted for the use of the Railroad Companies.
