The letters in this file concern matters related to the extradition and requisition of criminals on Kansas by other states. This description does not cover all the documents in this file, only just a few. A requisition request on September 5, 1878, from E. Hutchinson, Attorney, on the Governor of Nebraska, for the arrest of Mary J. Smith. A letter on April 23, 1878, from A. L. L. Hamilton, County Attorney, requests Governor Anthony offers a reward for the arrest of the murderer, who killed a resident of Greenwood County. A requisition request on October 7, 1878, from E. C. Weiless, on the Governor of Colorado for the apprehension of Henry King and William Malstead.
