A letter on March 30, 1878, from G. W. Sutton of Hartford, Kansas, states that they are trying to organize a Banking Company here in the form of a joint-stock company. A letter from Henry S. George requests information necessary to apply for a charter for a land and land improvement company in the State of Kansas.
