This set of photographs represents the West Building after reconstruction at the Shawnee Indian Mission in 1940. The Mission is located in Fairway, Johnson County, Kansas. In 1968, the Shawnee Indian Mission was declared a National Historic Landmark and has since been under the operation of the Kansas Historical Society.
