These five arrow points were collected from House 1 at the Markley site, a Smoky Hill Phase occupation site containing two or more houses. The artifact collection was donated in 1971 to the Kansas Historical Society. The arrow points are made of Permian chert and Alibates Agatized Dolomite and include different styles: triangular, side notched, and corner notched. As the dates for the different styles range from the Early Ceramic Period (corner-notched points) to the Middle Ceramic Period (side-notched points) to the Late Ceramic Period (triangular) the site likely had multiple occupations.
