A letter from B. F. Holmes asks Kansas Governor Harvey if arrangements can be made for shipping Texas Cattle within Kansas with safety to the shippers. A petition from citizens of Kansas request Governor Harvey secure an Act for the protection of stock from disease. A petition from citizens of Ellsworth, Kansas ask that Governor Harvey issue a proclamation carrying out a strict enforcement of the Texas Cattle law.
