A letter on February 27, 1872, informs Kansas Governor Harvey of the resignation of Samuel Cook as Justice of the Peace of Perry township in Woodson County. A petition on June 25, 1872, from citizens of Perry township request Ira K. Hopkins be appointed to fill the vacancy in the office of Justice of the Peace. A petition asking for the appointment of J. R. Kennemeur as Justice of the Peace of Wyandotte County. The following documents are letters or petitions requesting the appointment of specific individuals as Justice of the Peace of Woodson or Wyandotte County.
