A petition to have James C. Martin of Great Bend, Kansas appointed as Justice of the Peace of Barton County. A letter on November 11, 1872, from J. C. Wilson, requests Kansas Governor Harvey appoint W. P. Badger to fill the vacancy of Justice of Peace for Atchison County.
