The letters in this file pertain to the appointment of a Judge of the 11th Judicial District in the State of Kansas. Many of the letters are from various individuals making a recommendation of a specific candidate to fill the vacancy of Judgeship in the 11th Judicial District. A letter, from W. P. Bishop, writes to apply for the position and asks the Governor to hold off on appointing a person until he can explain why he is suited for the role.
