A letter from S. D. Houston requests Kansas Governor Harvey appoint him as a member of the Board of Regents for the Agricultural College. In Houston's letter, he describes how his appointment can benefit the college, he explains the need for a better system and more backbone. The Kansas Board of Regents governs the state's universities and colleges as well as administers the state's student financial aid, adult education, high school equivalency, and career and technical education programs.
