These letters, spanning 1865 to 1868, are from the directors of the Kansas State Normal School of Emporia regarding the director position to Kansas Governor Samuel Crawford. David Brocknay and James Rogers wrote their tenders of resignation. G. C. Morse and C. V. Eskridge wrote their acceptance of director of the school.
