A photo album from Luella Lottie Norris, long-time educator in Strong City, Kansas. Lottie was a graduate of Emporia State Teachers College where she received her Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Education. She was an elementary school teacher from 1928 until her retirement in 1973, the last seven years of her career were spent with the Beloit Unified School District No. 273. Photos include school floats, a church building in Cottonwood Falls, industrial buildings, train wreck west of Strong City, flooding near the Cottonwood Bridge, a ranch view, and many photographs of Luella's students. Many of the student images have separated from their photo album holdings, the names of the students are on the photo album pages but there is no identification on the actual student photographs. Also included in the album is a photograph of a highway near Cassoday, Kansas; Waverly, Kansas during the summer of 1929; and 2308 Buchanan St. in Topeka, Kansas.
