This file includes general correspondence relating to compensation for convicts. The correspondence in the file addresses compensation of convicts to support their family while they are in prison. This letter is for an inmate at the Hutchinson Reformatory, the family is told that inmates receive their compensation when they leave the Reformatory. This is part of a bigger collection of Governor Arthur Capper correspondence.
