Three rim and body sherds from a small jar were recovered during excavations in 1969 by Kansas Historical Society archeologists at the Nulik site in Sumner County. The ceramic jar had an outflaring rim, fine cord marking, and cooking residue on the outside of the vessel. The excavations revealed a Great Bend aspect house and associated midden (refuse heap or mound).
