Turk, or Turck, was a small unincorporated community in Cherokee County located approximately 3 miles south of Scammon on the old St. Louis and San Francisco RR line. Turk had a post office from 1889 to 1891. These photos include images of mining equipment, a movie theatre, store, and private residence.
