Wagon Bed Springs was a camp site in Grant County along the Cimarron cutoff of the Santa Fe Trail. This minie ball, donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 1961, was collected from there around 1909. The .68 caliber bullet with three exterior grease grooves has a conical base.
