These rim and body sherds were collected from Johnson County and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 2017. These four pottery sherds illustrate that even if artifacts do not have specific site information, archeologists can still learn about the lifestyles of people who lived in that area. These four sherds show a variety of decoration: punctates, horizontal cord marking, trailed lines with zoned punctates, and trailed lines.
