This postcard from 1912 features the "Original" Boston Bloomer Girls baseball team. The inscription on the front commemorates the team's visit to Pratt on August 6, 1912. Despite the name, the team was based in Kansas City. The man in street clothes in the photo is believed to be Logan Galbreath, the team's organizer and manager. Bloomer Girl teams were popular novelty teams that barnstormed from town to town to play local nines. They usually included male players in addition to females.
