These two unusual modified bones were recovered during excavations at Fool Chief's Village, a Kansa village site in Shawnee County. Both of the bone tools were made with metal tools. The notches show wear patterns that suggest some type of material ran back and forth along the notch. The excavations, during a Washburn University field school, occurred in 2011.
