These four rim sherds were recovered from an Early Ceramic period village site in Elk County and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 1972. The sherds show a variety of decoration styles: dentate stamping, crosshatching, punctates, trailed lines, and bosses. Dentate stamping is a decorating technique that leaves tooth-like impressions.
