This pipestone pipe was donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 1925. At some point in its history it was broken and then later repaired. Two lead or pewter inlay bands circle the stem and the bowl. The pipe has undulating incised lines along three sides of the base and crosshatching along the fourth side. Traces of tobacco residue, called dottle, remain in the pipe bowl.
