These three writs of scire facias were issued for Samuel Dolman and John S. Dolman by the Second District Court of the Kansas Territory in Lecompton. Samuel Dolman was arrested for robbery and released on bond, with John S. Dolman acting as a secondary party, on May 7, 1857. Samuel failed to meet the conditions of his bond, or recognizance, by attending the May court term of 1857. The three writs order Samuel and John to attend court and explain why a judgement of five hundred dollars should not be enforced.
