This arrest warrant and indictment relate to the case of the United States vs. James Curry for resisting arrest. Curry was accused of interfering and preventing the arrest of David Forbes for larceny on August 7, 1860 in Bourbon County, Kansas Territory. The indictment for Curry was filed on October 4, 1860 by the Third District Court in Fort Scott.
