These documents relate to the case of the Kansas Territory vs. Robert Carmichael for gambling on October 9, 1856 in the Kansas Territory. Carmichael was indicted by the Second District Court in Tecumseh during the November term of 1856. He was arrested by U. S. Marshal Israel B. Donalson and released on bond November 26, 1856.
