These legal documents relate to the case of the Kansas Territory vs. Thomas Burke for keeping a gaming house in Leavenworth County, Kansas Territory from August 1, 1857 to September of 1857. Burke was indicted during the September term of 1857 by the U. S. District Court of the Kansas Territory, First District. He was released on bond September 27, 1857.
