These legal documents relate to the case of the United States vs. Franklin F. Bruner for contempt. Bruner was charged with failing to attend the U. S. District Court, Kansas Territory, Second District in Lecompton for the term starting on October 4, 1858 to serve as a juror. The charge was dismissed by District Attorney Alson C. Davis on January 12, 1861.
