These legal documents include a writ and motion to quash related to the case of the United States vs. Seth Bray for violating the conditions of his bond. Bray was arrested for larceny and released on bond December 6, 1859 (see item 444811 for details). He was ordered to appear before the U. S. District Court, Kansas Territory, Third District in Fort Scott on December 20, 1859. A writ issued April 19, 1860 summons Bray to court to answer for violating the conditions of his bond.
