These legal documents, including a warrant and bond, relate to the case of the United States vs. George Boyle for aiding an escaped fugitive in the Kansas Territory. A warrant for Boyle's arrest was issued by the U. S. District Court of the Kansas Territory, First District, on June 28, 1859. Boyle was arrested and released on bond July 8, 1859.
