In this photograph, a young boy and girl pose next to a pony pulling a little wagon advertising the last day of a blanket sale and Big A Beloit flour at the Colby Mercantile Company store, Colby, Thomas County, Kansas. The children are identified as Morris and Lois Hampton. Adults standing on the porch of the home in the background are Mrs. Fred Wertz, Fred Wertz, and J.B. Hampton. The Methodist Church can be seen on the left.
