This white bead was recovered on the surface of 14MY318. The site, in Montgomery County, was a multicomponent (multiple occupations) camp site occupied during the Early and Middle Ceramic Periods. Closer examination of the round bead left Archeologists puzzled. Was it manufactured on a shell or was it a quality plastic reproduction mimicking shell-like patterns?
