This is a photo of Emma Palenske and her daughters at the Mid-Kansas Milling Company mill at Alma, Kansas. The photo was taken around 1911, and the refurbished mill is visible in the background. The back of the photo states, "Down by the Mill, Emma (Palenske), Laura, Florence, and outhouse." Funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission through the Kansas State Historical Records Advisory Board.
