This is a photograph of Isaac Baxter (May 14, 1835 - April 16, 1905), the son of Isaac and Anna (McCully) Baxter of County Down, Northern Ireland. He married Sarah Goodrich Simerwell (June 24,1829 - June 12, 1892), the daughter of Robert and Fanny (Goodrich) Simerwell, who helped establish the Baptist Indian mission in Shawnee County, Kansas. Isaac and Sarah Ann Baxter had a son William (1859 -January 7, 1924).
