Unused paper bag for 10 pounds of Smoky Valley Best White Corn Meal manufactured by the Smoky Valley Flour Mills in Lindsborg, Kansas. Color illustration of a mill building beside a river at center of bag. Bag manufactured by the Bemis Company in Kansas City, Missouri. The Bag was ordered sometime between 1927 and 1929 but never used because the river on the label is flowing in the wrong direction. The Smoky Valley Flour Mills opened in 1898 and closed in 1955. The building now houses the McPherson County Old Mill Museum.
