This photograph shows the Van Camp, Keith and Tenney, Grocery and Provisions store in Council Grove, Kansas. The business was located on the southeast corner of Main and Neosho Streets, on the Santa Fe Trail. The building was built in 1858. The men pictured are, from left to right: J. B. Flemming, Isaac Sharp, Mr. Martin, Jim Watkins, George Mashons, and G.B. Spencer. The horse team pictured belonged to Bill Watts.
