This porcelain whistle was recovered in Rawlins County, as an isolated find, between a road and a railroad. It has an eagle's head on one end and a whistle on the other. The whistle portion appears to be cut by hand. The whistle was photographed by Kansas Historical Society staff in 2002 and may post date 1878.
