A panoramic photograph shows employees of the Palace Clothing company celebrating its fiftieth anniversary with a dinner and dance. The event was held at the Hotel Jayhawk in Topeka, Kansas. Employee Galen Smith Houdyshell and Luella Taylor Houdyshell are seated at the end of the first table on the left side. An October 28, 1938 newspaper article clipped from the Topeka State Journal and pasted into a scrapbook lists employees of the Palace. Key employees are featured with photographs.
